We want everyone who uses the Velt website and portal, including residents, property teams, and sponsors, to be able to use them.
What we aim for
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site is built to work with a keyboard, with screen readers, and on phones, tablets, and computers. It includes a skip link, visible keyboard focus, labeled form fields with clear error messages, and text that can be enlarged. The resident portal is available in English and Spanish.
What we are still working on
We haven't had an outside accessibility audit yet, so some parts may not fully meet the guidelines. Photos uploaded by Velt team members, residents, and sponsors may not have descriptions. If something doesn't work for you, we'd like to know.
